Why do I want a false floor? What the heck is it?

When kitty urinates on the pine pellet litter, the pellets absorb the urine and turn to sawdust. The false floor allows the sawdust to fall to the bottom of the litter box and keeps it there. There is no tray that you need to empty. It gets thrown away when the rest of the Litter One kit does.

Why do I want the sawdust to fall through the false floor?

Two reasons.

1. Allowing the sawdust to go to the bottom of the box allows the whole pellets to stay on top. This lengthens the life of the pellets.
2. You won't have to worry about kitty tracking sawdust all over the house.
